James Bond

James Bond 007 is a popular fictitious character that was created by author Ian Fleming back in 1953. James Bond was featured in over twelve novels as well as two short stories. There have been over 22 James Bond films produced including the latest film that was released on October 31 2008 which was known as “Quantum Solace”.

James Bond has also been produced in comic strips as well as video games. In fact GoldenEye for N64 had sprung James Bond into huge popularity with first person shooter video games. Later on the licence was sold to EA which then sold the gaming rights to Activision in 2007.

There have been 6 different actors that have portrayed James Bond including Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore, George Lazenby, and most recently Daniel Cragg has taken over the 007 helm.

James Bond continues to deliver shocking new stunts and fast action sequence scenes and is increasing in popularity. One of the key components of James Bond films is the flashy new gadgets and the super fast cars. The Aston Martin DB5 was showcased in “Goldfinger”. Also James Bond weapon of choice for taking out bad guys is the Beretta 418 but later upgraded to the PPK which was resumed in the latest film Quantum of Solace.
